Master acting coach VELEKA GRAY shared the stage or screen with luminaries such as Sigourney Weaver, JoBeth Williams, Ted Danson, Carrie Fisher, Jameson Parker, Elliot Gould, Gerald McRaney, Madeline Kahn, and Keir Dullea, star of film 2001: A Space Odyssey, among scores of others.

After leaving “The Young & The Restless”, Veleka moved to San Francisco as a National Sales Trainer for MMI out of Houston, and for two years she coached Re-Entry inmates at San Quentin Prison in how to present as confident and personable to apply for work after serving their time.

Her next venture was in the Midwest where she taught acting and public speaking as an adjunct professor for six years at a college in Chicago before returning home to Louisiana to coach actors in the South. Since 1972, Veleka has served as a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences where she was chosen to be a Blue Ribbon Panel Finalist Judge for the National Emmy Awards. In addition, she is an active member of Women in Film and Television. She also narrates audiobooks for Audible.

Since 2009 she has written, directed, and produced twelve film projects with her acting students to give them experience, credits, and footage for their demo reels. Veleka launched her sitcom Web series GUILTY? on YouTube in May, 2024.
